Job Description
Part Time – 22.2 Hours (3 days a week), Permanent

We provide ongoing support to Social Services clients in receipt of care, either by helping clients to manage their own care via the RBC Direct Payment scheme or via our RBC Managed Service. We also ensure those clients who have to pay toward the cost of their Care are charged correctly.

About the role
You will be working closely with other areas of the Personal Budget Support Team and other key stakeholders within Adult Social Services and the NHS. You will also have close contact with our Service Users or their Nominated Representatives.

We are looking for a motivated individual, to help us ensure the Council charges correctly, either where a client is assessed to contribute toward their Care costs or where we have to recharge the NHS, where this is agreed.

Collating information from different sources to ensure clients are invoiced correctly for their contribution towards their Care costs. Responding to enquires from clients, their carers and/or their nominated representatives about invoices raised.

Completion of Personal Budget Reconciliation statements when needed, to inform vulnerable people and professionals the Council has charged correctly.

Raising Invoices to the NHS to recharge them for services they have agreed to fund and responding to queries from them for invoices raised.

An excellent telephone manner, together with strong I.T. and numeracy skills with accuracy & attention to detail are essential to this role, as is the ability to react to differing priorities in your workload. Previous experience of working in a similar role would be desirable however not essential as training will be given.

You will have the benefit of working in a well-established and very supportive team. You will also receive regular supervision and training to help you develop your professional skills.

You will be working from home and from the office, this will be arranged between you and the manager.
