Job Description
Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working in partnership with one of the world's leading businesses in their sector.
They are either looking for an experienced Payroller to join their central function at their Worksop site, or a recent Accountancy and Finance (or relevant) graduate with a desire to start a career in Payroll.

Key responsibilities of this role include, but not exclusive to:
*Carrying out the full, end-to-end payroll process including:
*Calculating payable hours worked, including any bonuses or commissions, salaries, pay rises, overtime compensation.
*Maintenance of the HR database with payroll data for starters, leavers, payments and allowances etc.
*Collation and distribution of absence and holiday data for processing.
*Calculating tax and NI deductions, leave, compassionate leave and non-taxable wages.
*Dealing with VAT returns
*Handling HMRC queries or payroll-related queries.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
*Either a recent Accountancy and Finance graduate with a passion for Payroll, or proven experience of working in Payroll or a similar role
*Excellent IT skills (particularly Excel, and accountancy software)
*Brilliant communication skills
*Good organisational skills and an ability to work to deadlines
