Job Description
We are currently working with our Stockport based client to support on recruiting an experienced Payroll Officer/ Payroll Administrator. Working in a fab team of payrollers this is a fantastic opopiortunity to work with a commercial forward thinking business. This is a hybrid role and offers real flexible working. As Payroll Officer you will take full responsibility for the accurate and timely delivery of a portfolio of clients payroll. Dealing with client queries and advising on all areas of UK payroll legislation

Responsibilities:

Full end to End payroll processing experience
Experience of working with a client payroll bureau
Comprehensive knowledge of all UK payroll legislation
Manipulation of data within Excel, V-Look ups and Pivot tables
Liaising with the business via email and telephone and responding efficiently and effectively to Payroll queries
Year end processes including the preparation of P11D's and HMRC submissions

The person:

Experienced Payroll professional
Previous bureau/ practice experience
Fully conversant with all UK payroll Legislation
Experience with Brightpay would be an advantage
Experience as either a Payroll Officer or Payroll Adminintrator
