Overview

This market leading award-winning organisation are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join their team. You will be a joining a vibrant organisation that has a great market reputation and is continually driving towards greater success. This role will be offered on a hybrid working scheme and you will be required to go into the Guildford office 1-2 days a week. This is a fantastic role for an experienced Payroll Manager who is looking for their next challenge.

Payroll Manager – About The Role

In this role you will be reporting into the Financial Controller and will be responsible for managing 1 member of staff. Furthermore, you will be responsible for running 2 monthly payrolls whilst also striving to improve the internal systems & processes.

Your key responsibilities will be:

* Managing & processing 2 monthly payrolls for over 3500 employees.

* Processing new starters, leavers and any pending changes via Select HR.

* Responsible for submitting monthly payments to our pension provider, ensuring any new enrolments are processed in line with company regulations.

* Ensuring that the full time and variable pay circles for the UK are completed to the highest accuracy.

* Leading and developing the payroll team to ensure the highest delivery of service.

* Working closely with the HR team to ensure payroll reflects any people movement throughout relevant months.

* Providing monthly analysis to the FP&A team to support with cost control and variance analysis.

* Continuously improving processes to ensure efficiency.

The successful Payroll Manager will have

* Previous experience in a Payroll Manager position

* Experience in running multiple payrolls

* Previous management experience would be desirable

* Good attention to detail
