Job Description
Clark James Recruitment are working with a highly successful business, due to further business expansion our client have a vacancy for an office based Payroll Assistant.
Role
* Managing the payroll process for employees is one of the most important undertakings of any employer.
* With the changing legislation in payroll compliance, it’s more essential than ever that we provide accurate, specialist advice.
* Preparation of weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly and monthly payroll.
* Processing starters and leavers.
* Liaising with HMRC regarding P45, P46, P11D and P60’s and CIS returns.
* Administration of pension schemes and auto enrolment.
* Communicating effectively with clients.
* Year end processing.
* PAYE/NI reconciliations.
* Processing of SSP, SMP, SPP.
* Payroll corrections.
Candidate
* Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
* Have the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Be confidence to communicate to clients and authorities.
* Be able work within the existing structure of the team.
* Have strong attention to detail.
* Have good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
