Payroll and accounts administrator Job in Tonbridge, Kent
Job Description
As the business has been growing that in turn increases the work load for the finance team – hence adding this role to their business.
You will work directly under the Finance Manager and provide support across the team.
The role will focus on providing support of monthly payroll processing, accounting ledgers and general support for the finance and HR department
Duties:
* Work with the business to provide accurate monthly payroll
* Prepare and process adjustments such as overtime, tax code changes, attachment of earnings
* Regularly check payroll integrity – such as sickness, absence checks
* Deal with any staff payroll queries
* Set up supplier/expense payment runs
Knowledge/experience:
* Previous experience working within an accounts/payroll team
* Knowledge of auto enrolment and staff expenses
* Exceptional attention to detail with strong Excel skills
* Understanding of GDPR
* AAT / Bookkeeping qualification an advantage
This role will be 100% office based. Monday to Friday.
