Job Description
My client, based in North-East Coventry, is looking for an Assistant Accountant/Bookkeeper to join them on a part-time basis for 20 hours a week, potentially more if you would like to get involved in other areas of the business.

This is a £3m turnover, family-run, manufacturing company who pride themselves on a very low staff turnover; many of their team have been with them for over 20 years.

The role has come about due to company growth and whilst they anticipate there is around 20 hours of accounts work each week, you could potentially add to this with administration duties.

The finance duties include:

Sales Ledger
Credit Control
Purchase Ledger
Bank Reconciliations
Accounts to trial balance (would be ideal but not taking accounts to trial balance will not automatically exclude you from consideration) This role reports into the Office Manager on a day-to-day basis with a dotted line into the off-site FD who gets involved on a monthly basis.

Benefits include 31 days holiday which includes 8 bank holidays, though please note that you would be required to work some bank holidays (excluding Christmas when the business shuts down), so you would take the day's holiday when you wish to suit your own circumstances.

The role is office based for 4 hours a day (or more if you would like to support in other areas) and the environment is easy-going and friendly.
