Job Description
As one of the UKs leading Independent Financial advisory networks, we support appointed representative firms that are part of our network. We have an opportunity with one of our appointed representative firms who are looking for an experienced Paraplanner based in the Sevenoaks area.
THE ROLE – Paraplanner – key duties will include:
* Attend clients’ meetings with senior IFA providing support in completing written documents and relevant paperwork
* Gain an understanding of the client's circumstances, objectives, and risk tolerance to ensure advice is appropriate
* Analyse and fully understand details of the client's existing policies, pensions, and investments
* Organise the production of key features, illustrations, and quotations necessary to support advice given
* Update model portfolios on investment platforms
* Prepare clear, technically accurate and compliant reports and reviews
* Prepare for review meetings by discussing agenda with financial planner and updating planning presentations for the client
* Ensure fact finds, client questionnaires and meeting notes fully support the advice given and compliance paperwork is present and correct
* Assist with the accurate completion of application and proposal forms, when necessary
* Act as one of the main point of contact for technical queries from clients
REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum 3 years' paraplanning experience
* Level 4 qualified preferred
* Good knowledge of Trust & Estate Planning, investments, protection products, IHT planning
* Strong report writing skills attending meetings with senior financial planner
* Good IT skills
