Job Description
Job Title: Operations Finance Analyst
Salary: £30-40k + study support + benefits
Location: Bradford based (flexible working)
We're very exciting to be recruiting for an Operations Finance Analyst to join a very well known forward thinking FMCG business based in Bradford. Working as part of an instantly recognisable FTSE 100 listed business, this is a great opportunity for a career focused Part Qualified Accountant/Finalist to work in a business facing, value add role, offering great exposure to Stakeholders across the business.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high calibre finance team, with an exceptional leadership team focused on the personal and professional development of their team, offering excellent mentorship and a fast tracked career trajectory. As part of a hands on, close knit finance team, and working closely with the Financial Controller, you'd have a focus on reducing costs and driving continuous improvement across their manufacturing site, providing support, direction and commercial insight to the wider non-finance Stakeholders across the business.
Working with and reporting into the Financial Controller, the role would include but is by no means limited to:
Providing financial analysis, insights, interpretation and commentary to the wider Senior Leadership team to aid commercial decision making
Ensure accurate and concise business planning to plan, forecast and budget
Help to drive performance across the whole site, working with the wider Stakeholder group to identify cost saving initiatives, overhead management, monitor stock and provide suggestions to drive performance
Cash flow forecasting and KPI reporting
Analysing variances to budget/forecast and adjusting accruals/prepayments as necessary to ensure accurate position is reflected.
Liaising internally with other departments to ensure budgets and costs are controlled & monitored
Managing the quarterly budget/forecast process to contribute to the sales forecast process.
Analysis of performance and profitability with a view to improve forecasting, target setting and cost control.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Assist with the installation and integration of the businesses new ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics.
Other ad-hoc projects as required.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate for this position will ideally:
Be a CIMA/ACCA part qualified and looking to further advance personally and professionally.
Be career driven, ambitious and looking for an organisation that can offer you fast tracked and clearly mapped out career opportunities.
Have experience working in a fast paced environment, FMCG advantageous but not essential.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships across the business and liaise with the wider stakeholder group.
