Our client is an established specialist mortgage lender with a truly customer focussed agenda and on an exciting journey of growth and change. They have a 12 month FTC opportunity (Mat Cover) for a passionate Operational Excellence Manage to join their mortgage team.

Core Responsibilities of the Operational Excellence Manager
* Change: work collaboratively with others to identify and deliver operational process and system improvements with tangible benefits for colleagues, customers, brokers and other third party stakeholders within the mortgage area.
* Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement: re-engineer processes within the mortgage area to drive efficiency and productivity, and the quality of service for customers and their intermediary partners.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure that quality and service standards are being adhered to through regular quality assurance checks, feeding back appropriately via the mortgage management team.
What they are looking for:
* At least 5 years working/managing within a mortgage operational department.
* Appropriate level of data protection, security awareness and confidentiality awareness.
* Demonstrable experience of project management and/or involvement in project activity – Lean, Six Sigma or other similar methodology preferred.
* Demonstrable experience of leading people, or influencing those around you – brings people together
* Awareness of the regulations under which a UK mortgage lender operates
* Excellent organisation skills, including ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines

In return you can expect a competitive salary, annual bonus, a 35 hours week (they are open to a 4 day week P/T) and hybrid working with a minimum requirement of 2 days in the office
