Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a New Business Account Handler to join Protect My Let (a howden company) in Colchester. This role is a hybrid of office/remote role (after initial training) giving you the opportunity to work within a highly supportive team.
We are looking for a bright, personable, self-motivated individual for this role. You will be supporting a team of Account Handlers to provide clients with appropriate advice and a quality service to meet their individual insurance needs.
We will provide you with all the training and support you need to learn our business and continue your professional development.
What you will be doing:
Assist in achieving new business targets.
Undertake market exercise to establish most competitive terms available.
Ensure premiums are collected prior to the commencement of cover and in line with procedures.
Handle all queries, whether written or by telephone, in a professional manner and process effectively in line with service standards.
Record all relevant information, correspondence and documentation on Acturis or other broking system and make effective use of the diary system.You need to bring with you:
Previous sales/new business experience.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to process work quickly and efficiently.
Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
Excellent client service skills.
Good negotiation and broking skills
