£25,000 – £30,000 Basic Salary – Employed
 
An award-winning mortgage brokerage in Manchester are currently on the lookout for experienced Mortgage Underwriters to join their expanding and busy team. 
 
As a Mortgage Underwriter, you will work efficiently and with exceptional attention to detail to underwrite new mortgage applications. You will play a key role in a busy and thriving team that specialise in the Buy to Let mortgage space. You will build excellent working relationships across the business with the brokers and be a point of contact for customers and lenders too.
 
You’ll be joining at a time of immense growth, meaning you will be playing a key role in the future of the business and the service they provide to their customers.
 
What you’ll bring:

Proven experience in a similar mortgage underwriting role
Strong understanding of the mortgage market and process
A confident and friendly telephone manner with the ability to build strong relationships
Excellent attention to detail and a ‘gets it right first time’ attitude
A willingness to learn and go the extra mile for the business
Excellent analytical skills and ability to work in a structured way What you’ll get:

Monday – Friday hours 9am – 5.30pm (NO WEEKENDS!) J
