Head of Finance

Permanent Position

£65,000 Salary

Client: London Based Charity

Hybrid Working ( 2 days in the office)

28 days annual Leave plus 8 day Bank Holidays.

As a member of the senior leadership team, as well as contributing to the leadership and management of the client, the postholder is responsible for leading on all aspects of financial and management accounting, and the delivery of high-quality procurement services. This involves ensuring that the right systems are in place and that the team are developed and motivated to deliver a customer focused and proactive service.

Key Accountabilities

* Leading, motivating and building the Finance team to deliver a high quality, proactive and reliable internal support service to colleagues across the charity

* Ensuring the provision to the SLT, Broad and budget holders of relevant and timely financial information to support delivery of business objectives

* Managing all financial functions including financial accounting, management accounting, business partnering and housing finance, designing, and implementing financial systems and processes which are appropriate for the organisation's size, strategy, and scale of ambition

* Advising, consulting with and Informing the CEO, the SLT and the Board on all financial matters providing high-quality and transparent analysis and reports on the performance of the charity including recommendations for decision making, effective delivery and risk mitigation * Using financial management information, especially benchmarking tools, to identify areas of relative spending, assess trends and advise the CEO, the SLT and the Board accordingly

* Managing relationships with external auditors and investment management firms, leading the tendering for those services where required

* Ensuring regulatory compliance requirements for the charity are met, including compliance with Charity Commission, Companies House and HMRC reporting requirements
