Job Description
My client is a well established, successful, Independent Mortgage Brokerage. The company's main aim is to provide the best and most impartial advice available to its clientele.
Due to business growth and high demand the company are currently looking for two additional Mortgage and Protection Advisor’s (handling mainly Residential and BTL cases) to join their established team.
Within this role the successful candidates will work entirely remotely from home. The firm are keen to secure experienced Mortgage and Protection Advisors who reside within the Essex, Peterborough and Cambridgeshire areas.
Each of the firms existing Mortgage and Protection Advisors regularly bank an average of £20k worth of business per month.
The successful candidates will receive a Self-Employed contract with the company, with a possible additional initial salary guarantee/retainer (the monthly amount paid and the length of the guarantee/retainer being negotiable based upon the candidates circumstances), a competitive commission split and flexible working hours.
In addition to the company’s large existing base of clients and the referrals, recommendations and repeat business that they gain from them, the company write a lot of new build business via new build development firm referrals that they receive based upon the contracts that they have in place with several large developers throughout the South East of England in in Essex, Kent, London and the Peterborough regions.
Where required you will attend new build events and site launches at weekends to develop your relationships further with housebuilder’s who introduce clients to you.
The company also gain further new clients based upon their marketing campaigns.
In turn you will be provided with all of your client leads with no need to have your own existing client base.
Within this position key role features include;
* You would provide mortgage advice from the whole of market and protection advice via a panel of providers.
* Warm client leads will be provided to you, in turn you are not at all required to have your own client base for this role.
* Post submission of cases, all of your further administration will be completed for you by an in-house administration team. Allowing you to spend more time speaking with and virtually meeting with clients. Once your case has been submitted the administration team will then regularly liaise with your clients, lenders, solicitors and yourself, seeing your cases through to their successful completion.
* You will benefit from the compliance support provided by the firms’ mortgage network.
* You will work within both a professional environment, where you will be treated like an adult and trusted to do your job well. Working within a successful, friendly and helpful team of experienced Advisor’s.
* As part of a successful growing firm, further career development opportunities are likely to become available to you such as management roles. There is also the opportunity to gain future profit shares within the business.
Key candidate attributes:
* Mortgage advising experience is essential.
* In turn you must hold the full CeMAP qualification (or equivalent).
* Excellent communication skills (both English written and verbal).
* Strong organisation and time management skills.
* My client is keen to hire candidates who are ambitious, driven/committed to succeeding, whilst also being a team player.
* Experience within the new build, help-to-buy and shared ownership mortgage sectors is desirable (but not essential).
A successful candidate will receive a Self-Employed contract including a lucrative commission split of all banked business, with no thresholds/targets/validations to achieve before you begin to earn commission. Leading to an annual OTE averaging £72,000 to £96,000.
An initial monthly salary guarantee/retainer can also be put in place for you.
Advisors at the company also earn additional commission for successful solicitor, bridging finance and equity release referrals made.
