Your New Job Title: Mandarin speaking Assistant Manager of Business Development (Financial Institutions)

The Skills You'll Need: Fluent Mandarin and English, a degree in business, economics, finance or other related areas, ideally banking related work experience.

Reporting to: The Head of Financial Institutions

What You'll be Doing Each Day:

Overview:

* You will be part of the Financial Institution (FI) team within the Business Development Department

Job details:

* Assist team head and senior staff in developing business strategies and opportunities.

* Perform due diligence including KYC on boarding, review and risk monitoring in accordance with the Branch Compliance policies.

* Support relationship manager in credit assessment, documentation review, deal execution process and post lending management.

* Assist the team in system operation process and well coordinate with other departments/teams in the Branch.

* Support customer information collection, system inputting, updates to ensure all customer data up to date.

* Support business agendas, projects, programs as being appointed.

* Support the team in producing business plans, maintaining customer relationship plans, customer business data, filing notes, call reports etc.

* Support the team in industry and product research; provide market research paper as required.

* Fully understand the Branch’s risk appetite and comply with Branch policies/procedures to conduct business development in line with the strategic and business goals within the team.

* Assist the Team Head on other ad-hoc tasks.

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

* Minimum Bachelor degree in business, economics, finance or other related areas.

* Enthusiastic self-starter with strong problem solving skills and flexible to handle new responsibilities in a diversified environment.

* Excellent written and spoken communicational skills to ensure complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to varied audience.

* Dual language abilities (English and Chinese) is required.

* Working experiences in banking industry is preferred.

Job status: Permanent

Working hours: Office based.
