Job Description
NXTGEN are delighted to be working with a fantastic, highly successful business based in Norwich City Centre who are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to come in and help the finance department on a 3-6 month contract. There is potential for this to become permanent, but it is an initial 3-6 month temporary role. As Management Accountant, you will be asked to review the current financial policies, processes and reporting templates with the idea to potentially implementing new ideas. This role has been created to help implement swift catch-up with budget setting, reporting and forecasting, embedding processes and templates for the future.

Key responsibilities:

Preparation of month end management accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations
Budgeting and forecasting
Financial risk forecasting and templates
Providing accurate and timely reports
Help to develop new and existing services and resources
Various other ad-hoc finance related duties as asked of you by the CEOThe ideal candidate will preferably be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or equivalent. You must have proven working experience in a Management Accountant position where you have produced management accounts, budgets and also gained experience in financial analysis. This is due to the short contract nature of this opportunity, so you will need to be able to come into this role and hit the ground running. Strong Excel is a desirable skill and will be needed for this opportunity. Our client will be looking for a confident and bright candidate for this role as you will be working with senior management and may be asked to represent and promote the business at relevant external strategic forums and meetings.
