Job Description
Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a successful and well-respected manufacturing business in Hull as they look to recruit a new Management Accountant for the team.

The purpose of the role is to provide accurate month end reporting along with analysis and insight, as well as having the ability to work proactively with other operational departments.

Working closely with the Finance Director, key duties will include:

*Preparation and management of the monthly management accounts
*Conducting variance analysis and understanding business performance
*Preparation of monthly reporting packs, together with a review of month end results
*Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
*Monthly VAT returns
*Preparing short term cashflow forecasts
*Support the FC to ensure internal controls are in place and help drive system improvements
*Ad-hoc financial analysis as required to support the FD, business, operational and commercial teams

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

*Ideally fully qualified CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA
*2-3+ years' experience within management accounts
*Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
*Flexibility and ability to prioritise own workload
*Good communication skills
*Able to work equally well individually and as part of a team
