Management Accountant

Coalville

£45,000 – £50,000

Predominantly office-based with 1 day a week WFH

Company and role details

A newly-created and hands-on management accounting role in a start-up business that forms part of a larger and well-established profitable group of companies. The business has around 10 staff currently and this will be the sole finance person on site. This is an exciting time to join them as they head in to a period of change and growth, having recently acquired the assets of another business.

Head office will support you with the likes of AP, AR and credit control, leaving you free to concentrate on some of the value-added areas of Finance. The role will focus particularly on management accounts, costing and financial analysis. You’ll get involved in budgeting and forecasting and analysis of sales and gross margins and look to develop KPIs.

Candidate background

* Broad experience across management accounts

* Crucially some experience required in costing

* Some time spent in manufacturing therefore would be beneficial

* Experience of financial analysis and KPI reporting

* High level of proficiency with Excel

* Able to work autonomously as the sole finance person on site
