Junior Project Controls Engineer
Salary: £20,000-£28,000
Location: Great Yarmouth

Well, I am recruiting for a Junior Project Controls Engineer to join my client, a successful player in their sector.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has some experience in this field, but is looking to develop and expand their knowledge as a Project Controls Engineer.
The Role:
Responsible for establishing & maintaining cost / progress reports / budgets for Operations & Maintenance Scopes. Will be required to also provide planning & project control support.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Cost Control
Support the Contract Managers by ensuring cost reports and budgets are produced in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with both company procedures and Client requirements.
Manage all cost control activities and track performance against the contractual scope, cost, schedule, and financial objectives of the Project.
Assist the Contract Managers by highlighting areas of concern in order to maximise cost control and improve margins
Provide monthly progress reports including cost forecasts for multiple con-current scopes
Assist in identification of changes in scope & schedule and support preparation of change notices
Provide input to accounts team by reviewing invoices as required and updating neutral funding forecasts
Attend and input to client meetings and provide updates internally and to Clients
Planning
Create, maintain, review and administer Operations plans using Primavera P6
Liaise with Operations Engineers to gather progress and identify any schedule issues.
Support of client plan with company integrated operational plans where applicable
Liaise with Clients and suppliers to identify key dates and correctly schedule the phases of operations, procurement and implementation.
Present progress updates internally and to Clients as required
