Job Description
Overview

This leading importer, distributor and retailer of organic products are looking for an individual who is wanting to embark upon their career within accounts and finance to join their busy team as an Accounts Payable Assistant.

Based at the company’s head office in Guildford, the role is full-time, Monday to Friday and would suit someone who is looking for a junior/entry level role in accounts and finance as full training will be given.

Accounts Payable Assistant – About the Role

In this role you will be working alongside the credit control function providing support in the following areas:

* Checking and posting purchase invoices

* Creditor reconciliation and production of month end payment run.

* Some banking functions

* Small amount of Nominal ledger work

* Assisting with ad hoc accounts duties as required.

The successful Accounts Payable Assistant will have

* Good attention to detail

* A confident disposition

* Some experience of Accounts Payable or Purchase Orders
