Job Description
Junior Accountant (part time) required by our client an Accountancy Practice located in Birmingham to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years' experience in in-house accountancy work, preparing of monthly management and annual year-end accounts as well as working on annual group consolidation packages, preparation of accurate reports and analysis, vat compliance processes for the company's accounts.
Additional tasks are preparation of sales invoices from the internal time keeping and invoicing system, furthermore, ageing review and invoice payment follow up with clients and suppliers, communication with international controlling colleagues in Germany, local accountant advisor and local auditors.
Junior Accountant Position Overview

Junior Accountant Position Requirements
Bookkeeping certification, possibly ACA or ACCA qualified -Accountant,
Knowledge of Xero is preferred
2-3 years' experience within an accountancy practice
Junior Accountant Position Remuneration
Salary £20,000- £22,000 (pro rata)
Days 3-4 days a week
Hours 20 hours per week
Annual leave 25 days + bank holidays (pro rata)
