Job Description
We're looking for a Head of Finance to work for our client. The role may offer a hybrid working arrangement.

Established in 1920, they are a manufacturer of a range of food for the grocery sector.

If you have a background in both the strategic and tactical management of a finance function for a manufacturing business then you could be perfect for our client and we'd love to see your CV.

Responsibilities:
Ultimately you are tasked with driving strategic direction, commercial and operational performance, funding and growth of a large, privately owned manufacturing business.

You will of course manage an experienced finance team, leaving you to focus on areas such as:

– Driving efficiency across the business, working with key stakeholders to improve KPI's and enhance decision making
– Reviewing and developing financial control framework to support further business growth
– Providing financial analysis to support projects and new business initiatives

Equally you will remain hands on and familiar with the financial detail of the company including responsibility for such things like compliance, VAT, PAYE, HMRC tax, insurance, company secretarial matters

Requirements:
– Experience of both the strategic and tactical management of a finance function within the manufacturing sector
– A background working in a business with multiple cost centres

The Package:
– Basic salary: Circa £100,000 per annum + bonuses and benefits commensurate with a position of this seniority
