Overview
This leading global law firm based in the centre of London are looking for a fully qualified Global Partnership Accounts Supervisor to join their team. The role will be based in London within the Group Partnership Accounting team and will be offered on a hybrid working scheme, 2 days in the office. The team is responsible for overseeing the accounting and reporting of partner remuneration, tax reserves, payments, and capital on a partner-by-partner basis globally. The ideal candidate will be a Qualified (ACA/ACCA or CIMA) Accountant and would have Partnership Accountant experience possibly with experience gained across multiple countries/ jurisdictions internationally.
Global Partnership Accounts Supervisor – About the Role
In this role you will be working a small team of 5 and will be responsible for supervising 2 members of staff. Furthermore, you will report in the Global Partnership Accounts Manager and will be required to communicate with senior stakeholders & partners.
Your key responsibilities:
* Overseeing completion of month end partner-related processes and reviews.
* Review and reconciliation of partners’ current accounts, tax reserves and capital accounts ensuring that any discrepancies are highlighted and corrected in a timely manner.
* Summarising partner payment information to enable timely review and accurate cash flow projections.
* Oversee posting of journals to partners' current accounts, tax reserves, capital accounts and drawings accounts including monthly accruals and year-end profit allocations and changes in capital.
* Maintenance of detailed partner profit sharing information for all partners throughout the year, including liaison with the appropriate business services representatives to ensure information is accurate and fully up to date.
* Management of the forecasting, calculation and payment of partners’ monthly drawings and distributions.
* Supervision and review of work and performance of team members, with feedback to superiors as appropriate.
The successful Global Partnership Accounts Supervisor will have
* Previous experience within a similar position.
* Be fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
* Working experience within the legal industry is desirable.
* Good communicate skills in dealing with senior stakeholders.
* Strong organisation skills.
