Job Description
NXTGEN are pleased to be working with a leading manufacturing company who are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join them on a full-time basis. The company is one that is going through a period of transformation meaning as the Finance Controller, you will have the opportunity to mold a finance team and drive the importance of positive change. As the Financial Controller you will play an integral role of the day-to-day management of the finance team along with having involvement both technically and commercially. You will play an integral role in supporting the Finance Director in making companywide decision by providing sound financial insight.
The main duties are:
Manage all accounting operations including AP and AR, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Payroll, Fixed Assets, FOREX, Cars, Cashflow and Revenue Recognition
Prepare all management packs for the business
Co-ordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
Co-ordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen controls
Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems
If you are currently in an finance controllers position and are interested in the scope/growth this role has to offer then I want to hear from you. You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and will ideally come with a manufacturing background. You will have a proven track record of improving in house finance functions and demonstrate both technical and commercial traits
