Job Description
Our client who specialise in the construction industry are seeking a Financial Controller to oversee the day-to-day operations within the finance department.

The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director and collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.

About the role

Oversee all company accounts
Identify results, trends, and financial forecasts whilst regularly looking for cost reduction opportunities
Manage cash flow by tracking transactions
Supervise and manage financial department staff including production of payroll and ledger posting
Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation, particularly FRS 102
Develop budgets and financial forecasts for the company based on research and data reports
Assist the MD in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and ownersAbout you

Must have bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field
To have achieved ACCA or CIMA qualification (desirable but not essential)
Able to demonstrate excellent management, leadership and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and organisational skills
