Job Description
Recruiting exclusively through CMA, our client operates luxury hotels, wedding and events venues and, with an exciting new five star concept, they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Financial Controller to head up their team in Bournemouth, Dorset.

What will the role involve?

As Financial Controller you will manage a growing team, currently of three, and oversee the day-to-day activities for the finance function;
Production of monthly management accounts, annual budgets and rolling forecasts;
Analysis of variances between actual and forecasted/budgeted performance;
Develop and maintain sound financial controls and processes;
Production of daily and weekly sales/wages/P&L reporting;
Produce and transmit the monthly payroll via payroll bureau;
Management of the annual audit process;
Ensure the company complies with statutory requirements, including the submission of VAT returns;
Business partnering the Company Managing Director and General/Estate Managers across all sites;
Support the Group CFO and Company Managing Director with ad hoc tasks as required.
Suitable Candidate:

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience within hotels or hospitality;
Strong Excel skills;
Proven track record of running a finance function in a growing organisation.
