My prestige client local to the area has enlisted me via Simpson Judge to search for a Commercial/Finance Analyst. Fully Remote (Occasional Manchester/ Warrington meetings) so for either a self-sufficient experienced individual or more up and coming data savvy graduate for example this could be a really good career. Role Overview / Responsibilities:

Reporting into the Associate Director (ACA accountant) you will be responsible for producing and reviewing management information (MI) to aid business decisions.
This would be an ideal role for a candidate looking to land a progressive role and develop a career in finance and analysis. The successful candidate will work within a supportive team, with the opportunity to gain exposure across the business as they develop into the role.
Key responsibilities will be:

* To analyse business performance and provide MI to aid management decisions

* Preparation of MI for internal and external users (both financial and commercial)
* Involvement in the production of monthly board packs

* Assisting with the month end and year end process

* Building effective relationships – internally across the business and externally with suppliers and other contacts.
* Use the above to drive improvements across the business

Desired Skills / Experience:

Good knowledge of Excel software – Essential
Confident communicator (written & verbal) – Essential
Good organisational skills and a strong work ethic – Essential
Experience of working with SQL – Desirable
Finance related degree or experience of working in finance dep't – Desirable
Experience of working in a firm of solicitors or legal environment – Desirable
Salary & Other Benefits:

Salary range of circa £26k (negotiable dependant on experience).
Contributory pension.
Minimum of 20 days holiday plus bank holidays and a Birthday holiday.
