Job Description
Our client is an early stage biotech business who are growing and starting to do wonderful things. They seek to hire a Financial Analyst to report to the Finance Director. The Financial Analyst will have exposure across all of the business and be a key business partner to all senior management, operations and leadership teams.

* Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking

* Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support

* Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements

* Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts

* Propose and deliver automation of processes

* Develop dashboards and KPIs aligned with the business objectives

* Report on financial performance for senior management reviews

* Business partnering support to Department Heads

* Opportunity to work on exciting R&D projects as Finance Support

* Assist with international expansion planning

* Support the Head of Finance and CEO with raising future investment funds, including managing investor relations

* Guide the internal cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures

* Work closely with the accounting team to prepare monthly accruals, prepayments, and similar accounting entries and ensure accurate financial reporting

* Assist with producing Financial Accounting information to agreed deadlines and in accordance with required standards

* Assist with Year-End Audit & Taxation

* Support internal audit controls management

A salary of £50,000-£55,000 is on offer plus bonus, share options and other great benefits
