FINANCE MANAGER. RECfinancial are delighted to be recruiting exclusively for this growing North Leicester B2B based business on a permanent basis. You will be joining this business as it goes through some exciting changes.
So What's the Role of the Finance Manager?
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, your role as the Finance Manager will be to manage all aspects of the accounting function within the UK & Overseas, to be compliant with group and statutory accounting practices on both an IFRS and local GAAP basis. You'll manage and drive performance within a team.
As the Finance Manager, you will provide staff management, motivation, training, and recruitment for the accounting team to ensure that all required deliverables are achieved for all areas of the P&L and Balance Sheet. Your role will also involve the following;

Completion of month end, ensuring completion of all accounting responsibilities for a range of business divisions in UK to ensure the integrity and completeness of the month end accounts.
This includes all accruals, prepayments and provisions, including completing the month end balance sheet reconciliations. This will include all accounting relating to Income.
Review of UK balance sheets, fixed assets and depreciation.
Financial Accounting and Tax Regulations must be monitored with advise being offered where necessary and ensure internal controls are in place for accounting processes. UK compliance must be accurate and reconciled.
Budgeting and forecasting in key areas under the remit of the team.
Responsible for ensuring key controls are in place, adhering to SOX controls.
You will support Senior Finance Manager with the quarterly external audit process and manage the team.
So What are we looking for as the Finance Manager?

You'll be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or finalist with demonstrable skills with industry, covering line management with Statutory legislation and ideally Tax.
