Job Description
Our client is an exciting new company formed out of two highly successful UK businesses providing services throughout the UK managing projects of £0.5b.
We are seeking a Finance Manager to work on a full time, contract basis. This role is to cover a maternity post which will come to an end in December 2023. It is based from home, on a salary of £50,000 to £60,000 depending on experience. The location is flexible within the Midlands with a possible requirement for travel (which is paid for).
The main duties include (but are not limited to): –
* Deliver accurate and timely monthly financial reporting
* Obtain, provide, and interpret financial and non-financial information
* Build constructive, professional relationships with shareholders, external auditors, tax advisors and internal and external stakeholders
* Undertake annual budget and target setting exercises
* Perform financial reconciliations and investigations
The successful candidate must have: –
* Good financial management and project accounting skills
* Excellent IT skills including the use of Excel and SAP (desirable)
* Ability to deliver financial information to non-financial managers
* ACA/ ACCA, CIMA qualified or qualified by experience
* High degree of accuracy and thoroughness
