Job Description
Robert Walters are excited to be partnering with a leading services provider in Manchester. We are looking for a driven Finance Manager to take ownership of the Company's Fixed Asset activities and to join and lead an established finance team with the opportunity to make an impact on the business and its clients.

Reporting to the Fixed Assets and Financial Control Manager, you will produce fixed asset schedules for use in the completion of the year end divisional and consolidated statements and review and manage the accurate production of month end fixed asset journals. You will oversee the production of accurate and timely month and year end reports, as well as support capital budget reporting and forecasting. You have 3 direct reports within the fixed assets team, and will ensure that the fixed asset registers are accurately maintained.

Your Responsibilities;

Produce high quality fixed asset reports and analysis
Ensure that consolidated financial statements are produced in accordance with required timescales
Assist in the external audit process and respond promptly to any queries raised in a timely manner, whilst ensuring that no high priorities and risks are highlighted in the report
Produce effective financial analysis and forecasting to assist with strategic planning and project implementation
Produce fixed asset schedules for use in the completion of the year end divisional and consolidated statements
Manage, coach and develop the Fixed Asset Team ensuring the Fixed Asset Registers are accurately maintained
Support capital budget reporting and forecasting, and impairment tests as required
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations, ensuring any changes required to accounting policies are implemented and applied correctly and in accordance with timescales
Maintain key relations with Asset Management, Development and Financial Management community Key Skills Preferred;

ACA/CIMA/ACCA fully qualified
Prior experience managing an accounting team
Experience of reviewing and analysing financial information and reporting on results
