Job Description
NXTGEN are working in partnership with a business based south of Norwich who seek a Financial Controller to join them at a time of exciting growth. As Financial Controller, you will be working in tandem with the Finance Director in helping drive the business forward and as well as improving current processes and procedures. As the business continues to expand, this role will play a key part in the future demands and growth aspirations the company has. You will be tasked with providing key financial information to help contribute to companywide decisions. In addition to this, the business has experienced a wealth of investment to help support the growth meaning this is an exciting time to be joining the business.
The Main Duties are
Day to day management of the finance team
Production of monthly management accounts and interim and annual financial accounts.
Complete annual tax packs
Prepare and submit financial returns for R&D grant claims
To advise and drive continuous improvement of process and procedures
Assisting the Finance Director with the planning and monitoring of company cash flow
You will be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified. You will ideally come with experience in working in engineering or manufacturing. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to help others and have experience in managing people. This is an office-based role and one that will require commitment and buy in to the company wide goals. This presents a brilliant opportunity for a hungry FC looking to make an impact
