Job Description
Credit Controller

A proactive and commercially astute Credit Controller is needed to join a highly successful fast-paced business at their office on the outskirts of Exeter, close to the M5. This position is working as part of a friendly busy team and reporting to the Finance Manager; you will be taking responsibility for credit control duties and sales ledger administration.

Credit Controller – The Role:

* Building relationships with customers through telephone and email contact, chasing payment for overdue invoices.

* Regularly review outstanding debt with the Finance Manager

* Processing sales invoices and credit notes onto Sage.

* Processing and allocating customer receipts on Sage.

* Dealing with customer account queries

* Issuing out monthly statements

Credit Controller – The Person:

The successful candidate will have previous credit control and/or sales ledger experience. An effective communicator, you will possess an approachable personality and a confident, positive attitude. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work using your own initiative. Good IT skills ideally with knowledge of Sage.

Salary: £24,000 – £27,000pa depending on experience + benefits
Hours: Monday – Friday, full time, 8:30am – 5:30pm
Location: Office based, free parking
