Finance Business Partner
Salary: £45,000 – £51,000
Location: Hull
Would you like to work for a global company in food manufacture? We are recruiting a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified accountant for a Finance Business Partner role in the FMCG sector. This key role sits within an established finance team and will report into the Finance Director.
THE ROLE:
Reporting into the Finance Director this appointment supports the Hull team in supporting the Hull team in business decision making and strategic planning together with the provision of reporting, forecasting and analysis of performance.
The role takes responsibility for the financial control and governance including profit and balance sheet control, governance surrounding decision making and working closely with the rest of the UKI and finance team and also the global finance team.
Cost review including raw material costs, production costs (direct and indirect), and depreciation costs. Support for cost reduction activities including the procurement, logistics and manufacturing cost trackers. capital project finance support including regional fund capex requests, business case financial analysis, approval process support and capital project trackers.
Provision of reporting, forecasting and supporting analysis on a timely and accurate basis for both local team and group purposes, monthly management performance reporting including commentary, quarterly forecasts and annual budget including presentations.

THE CANDIDATE:
A CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified accountant, the ideal candidate will have experience of working within a manufacturing environment and experience of working in an international manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
Strong IT skills are essential, particularly with Excel, along with a confident, proactive approach and the ability to consistently meet deadlines. You must have excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills.

Our client operates in the FMCG food manufacturing sector and is part of a global group. The local office and factory is based in Hull and has good access to all the surrounding areas of the city, Beverley and the East Riding villages.
THE BENEFITS:
