£17.44 per hour PAYE

Advantage Resourcing are working with a prestigious Research University based in London looking for a talented Finance Assistant on a 3-month Hybrid working contract to join our fantastic team.

About the role:

To support the finance team with transactions such as the raising of invoices, processing and approving of expense claims, and banking. Creating reports on Axiom for budget monitoring purposes. Supporting the Stores team with regular data entry and necessary filing.

What you will be doing:

Responsible for administering financial transactions for all departments within the School of Pharmacy.
creation of invoices, cost transfers between accounts, creating reports in Axiom and monitoring internal budget spending.
The role holder will also be responsible for banking and potentially expense claim approvals. This is an important task that requires a keen eye for detail
The post will support the Stores team in their administration duties by supporting data entry, communication with academic staff, and filing

What we are looking for in you:

Proven experience of providing effective financial support in a complex organisation, including the experience of online financial systems such as MyFinance and Axiom
Experience of providing financial reporting
Proven experience of working as a proactive member of a team
Excellent IT skills including good knowledge of Excel and a good all round knowledge of Microsoft Office software
