Job Description
Job Title: Finance Analyst

Location: Burton on the Wolds, Leicestershire / Hybrid

Pay Rate: £30,000 – £35,000

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)

We are hiring for a Finance Analyst that has experience in compiling financial reports for a business in the Leicestershire area. This is a large manufacturing company that provide tools and equipment for companies.

Duties of a Finance Analyst

In this role you will be working to assist the business with their financial compliance needs. Reporting to the Finance Controller, you will be responsible for:

Creating balance sheet reviews, accruals, prepayments and reporting month end activities
Account management
Supporting monthly budget maintenance, profit planning and cost by function reporting
Reviewing stock activity
Supplier statement reconciliations
Preparing compliance reporting documents
Other adhoc tasks to support the finance office

Skills and Experience of a Finance Analyst

As a Finance Analyst, you need to have the following:

3 years minimum experience in the financial sector

It would be beneficial to the Finance Analyst role if you also had:

A part qualified CIMA, ACA, ACCA qualification
Knowledge of the manufacturing/engineering industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
