Job Description
Julie Rose Recruitment are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join their client in Bromley. This role would suit someone with previous experience in Insurance, or for an ambitious college or university leaver with a keen interest in Insurance to join the team.

The successful candidate will work within the Commercial Department and provide broking services for vehicle, household and high net worth clients.

Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service Advisor:

Negotiate terms on behalf of customers with underwriters
Handle process and assist with commercial claims
Work in accordance with the requirements of the firm’s own procedures, the Financial Services Act 2012 and FCA Regulations
To be aware of and to follow at all times the firm’s policy on Treating Customers Fairly
To be aware of and comply with the firm’s standards of ethical behaviour
Adhering at all times to the Training and Competence procedures for the organisation
To undertake all other duties reasonably required and directed
 Person Specification for the Customer Service Advisor:

Minimum education A Level or above
Rounded knowledge of, or interest in the insurance industry
Proficient in MS Office
Responsible attitude to handling sensitive information
Ability to present information in a professional manner to new and existing customers
