Job Description
Role Overview

This position requires a motivated, ambitious and commercially minded credit risk & data analyst as part of the analytics team. This team plays a vital role within the business, working cross-functionally supporting all areas of the business delivering solutions by building MI reports and conducting advanced data analysis.

This professional should have excellent analytical and reporting skills as you will be identifying and analysing the areas of potential risk threatening the assets, earning capacity or success of the organisation.

Responsibilities

Take ownership and delivery of a range of credit risk and data projects, including analytics, reporting, portfolio management, automating processes, testing and more.
Analysis of data as well as identifying trends and developing an in-depth understanding of our customers to improve strategies and business performance.
Monitor strategy and portfolio performance.
Adopt a continuous improvement mind-set, constantly identifying opportunities to enhance processes, procedures, tools, technologies, etc.
Use a range of tools, including SQL, Excel and PowerBI to report and monitor all aspects of our credit performance, across a range of channels and products
Design, develop and utilise effective analysis and management information, identifying potential changes and identifying areas to further investigate and enhance
What you'll bring

Essential:

Experience analysing large datasets on a Data Lakes or EDWs using SQL
Comfortable visualising and presenting analysis across a range of formats (reports, PowerPoint, dashboards, e-mail)Desirable:

Over 2 years of experience in data and analytics driven credit risk / analytics role within the Financial Services industry
Team player willing to get involved in team activities
Adopt a continuous improvement mind-set, constantly identifying opportunities to enhance processes, procedures, tools, technologies, etc
