Credit Controller
Location: Peterborough, PE2 6GN
Salary: £23K – £27K
Contract: Full time, Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to ensure accounts remain within their set credit limit and agreed payment terms through regular phone, email, and day to day contact. Swiftly identifying and highlighting reasons for non-payment and dispute items.
In addition to this you will be responsible for:
* Issuing monthly statements. Take ownership and resolve all inbound enquiries resulting from these correspondences.
* Maintaining accurate and up to date customer details.
* Maintaining and reviewing accounts on stop and those that exceed their set credit limit.
* Maintaining up to date customer notes regarding all communication and actions taken to recover debt and dispute resolution.
* Maintaining accurate and reconciled accounts. Assist the cash allocation team with their solution of payment issues and the correct allocation of credit notes, unapplied cash or journals.
* Providing a high level of support to both internal and external stakeholders.
* Attending regular KPI meetings with Senior Management, anticipating and identifying nonpayment issues.
* Instigating Legal action where necessary for non-payment. Prepare and maintain documentation for trade debt litigation for review by Senior Management.
* Collaborate with the internal process to ensure best practice and legal compliance is achieved and continuously improved to minimise risk to the business performance and reputation.

* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
* Excellent customer service skills, experience working within a highly competitive target driven results orientated environment
* Ability to quickly interpret complex multiple business
