Job Description
I am currently working exclusively with an fast growing partner business to the automotive industry who are looking for a driven and focused Credit Controller to join them on a permanent basis as their busy team continues to expand.

This role will involving engaging with their B2C client base to resolve issues, lower their aged debt and create payment plans with customers.

This role will be collections focused but will also have an element of customer service involved with working hours being 9am – 6pm Monday to Friday. They operate a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office, 2 working from home, but there will be an expectation that during the first couple of weeks you will be in the office full time.

Responsibilities

Liaising with other areas of the business to ensure accurate and timely issue of end of hire invoices
Sending regular reminders to customers either via phone, email or SMS
Drafting and sending out various letters, such as legal action letters
Performing various credit checks on customers to assess their ability to meet their contract obligations
Negotiating payment plans with customers
Instructing external debt collection agencies and solicitors when all internal debt collection avenues have been exhausted
Management of external debt collections agencies and solicitors, monitoring their progress against agreed timetables
