Job Description
We are looking for someone with credit control experience for this full time temporary to permanent role starting asap with a view to transferring to a permanent role early 2023. You need to have at least 1 – 2 years experience in credit control preferably but experience in debt collection would be a great alternative. Hybrid working 2 – 3 days and Leeds city centre based when on site.

Job profile

Working for a firm that are growing rapidly and need additonal support within a small and friendly finance team. Supporting the existing credit control function with the management of cash collection across the group. Using your personable manner and your natural tenacity, building and developing strong relationships with customers. By doing so you will resolve payment and invoice queries to expedite settlement of debts.

Responsibilities include:

* Tactically monitor and collect payments by contacting customers on a daily basis via phone and email

* Build and maintain good working relationships with both internal colleagues and our customers

* Resolve any customer queries that arise

* Keep excellent customer records electronically

Experience and skills required:

* Have up to 1 to 2 years of credit control or debt collection experience

* Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Be a self starter and happy to work independently

* Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Hours: Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm with 1 hour lunch

Location: Leeds city centre/hybrid 2 – 3 days per week
