Walters People: Senior Manager – Corporate Finance – Up to £64,000 per annum – Worcester – Hybrid working – Full Time
Walters People are partnered with a leading business to recruit a Senior Manager in their Corporate Finance Team. This is an exciting opportunity based in Worcestershire, with an anticipation of hybrid working.
Responsibilities of the Senior Manager will include:
Leading the delivery of Corporate Finance projects including fundraising and restructures, ensuring they are progressed to a high standard and meet strategic objectives
Identify opportunities to maximise financial capacity and work with internal operational teams to deliver acquisitions and refinances effectively
Carry out financial assessments and analysis
Prepare and present accurate information and reports as required to Board, Executive Committee, Directors, and other key stakeholders to support decision making, business planning and compliance with financial regulations and to meet Group objectives
Build, develop and maintain effective relationships with all key stakeholders, internal and external
Support the development of financial and performance monitoring systems and processes, including reviewing impact on systems and processes when making improvement recommendations
Promote and manage good financial decision making to improve economic value to ensure continued financial viability and improve financial performance
About you as the Senior Manager:
Degree qualified, management qualification or relevant professional qualification or knowledge and ability at an equivalent level
ICAEW, ACCA, ACA, or CIMA professional qualification or similar
Recent experience of undertaking a similar role within a finance environment
Comprehensive experience of managing financial projects within a large, complex organisation
Comprehensive experience of undertaking financial assessments and associated analysis and reporting
Robust knowledge of accounting regulations, legislation, and current practice
Proven track record of demonstrating commercial acumen, achieving results
Proven experience of managing relationships with stakeholders
Robust experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
Excellent understanding of written and spoken English
Intermediate Microsoft 365
