Compliance Analyst – The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Compliance/MLRO, the compliance analyst will be initially responsible for the timely review and assessment of TUKPL’s UK merchant portfolio in preparation for the planned migration in Q4 2022. In addition, the analyst will provide support in the research and preparation of the UK Compliance framework and proposed monitoring process.
Further, the analyst will support BAU underwriting queries and SAR reporting management, under the guidance of the Deputy MLRO.
Post migration the analyst will continue to support BAU activities, alongside performing robust compliance monitoring of TUKPL’s outsourced activities.
Compliance Analyst – Key Responsibilities:
– Assisting within BAU daily queries, projects and tasks
– Assessing UK high-risk, PEP present, complex merchants
– Providing SAR research and investigation support
– Assisting wider business with BAU enquiries and requests
– Assisting in development of UK compliance framework and monitoring plan objectives
– Contributing to (the effectiveness of) and performing robust compliance monitoring
– Working collaboratively with other departments to evaluate effectiveness of outsourcing model findings and best practice
– Assessing success of the compliance monitoring, providing recommendation and enhancement opportunities to maximise efficiency and robustness of outsourcing approach
– Providing accurate and concise monitoring data for regular MI
– Ongoing monitoring of existing portfolio
– Researching industry compliance regulations and policies
– Developing and executing new compliance policies and procedures
– Maintaining policy repository oversight
– Providing advice and guidance to the business, in response to compliance queries
Compliance Analyst – you:
– Knows their AML legislation and can readily discuss
– Understands the regulations and its purpose
– Has experience in the payments industry, particularly acquiring
– Has knowledge of card scheme requirements
– Understanding of ecommerce and other payment mechanisms
– Has experienced of large-scale remediation projects
– Is familiar with CRM systems and gateway functionality
– Self-disciplined when working alone, with effective multi-tasking capabilities
