Job Description
As a Collections Advisor you will be responsible for taking phone calls and confidently being able to solve customers problems. You will be part of a customer focused team that characterises high standards and demonstrates a responsible approach to the collection of debt.

Description

As a Collections Advisor you will:

Receive calls from customers that owe money to local authority clients.
Occasional outbound calls to customers who are behind on payments.
Collect payment in full & ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times.
Obtain questionnaire details from customers who may be in financial difficulties.
Review and update the database notes and the status of accounts.
Negotiate payment plans and arrangementsProfile

A successful Collections Advisor will demonstrate:

Confidence in dealing with customers over the phone
Experience in working under tight deadlines and targets
Working knowledge of MS Office and databases
Excellent communication and people skills
Strong negotiation skills to achieve short arrangements
Ability to spot errors and rectify quickly and effectivelyJob Offer
