Job purpose
We are working with it to identify an exceptional technology sales professional with direct experience of compliance or financial crime systems to take responsibility for growing sales of the company’s innovative client verification product.
You will work closely with the Head of Global Tech Sales, other members of the wider Marketing & Sales team and product developers to ensure development and execution of a clear sales plan.

Responsibilities
* Provide ‘hands-on' sales leadership, working within a successful team and ensuring results in line with business objectives;
* Drive sales of client verification technology, leveraging the firm’s marketing strategy, messaging and events;
* Identify new sales leads & close existing leads;
* Work to an ambitious revenue target;
* Cross sell other company products;
* The role has a global remit, although successful candidates would be based out of one of our two offices (London and Middle East);
* In conjunction with the product development team, ensure customer experience and satisfaction goals are met;
* Manage, as well as systematically analyse, the acquisition, conversion and retention of clients, funnel performance, strategies and tactics to ensure that growth, acquisition, client retention and profitability targets are met;
* Work closely with the Head of Sales and business leadership across the company to assure business goals are met.
Experience
* You will be a self-motivated, exceptional people person, who can listen to and understand our clients’ problems. We are looking for fun and dynamic technology sales specialists that are motivated by doing the right thing and are always willing to learn and understand more about financial crime threats and trends.
* Successful candidates will have a minimum of five years’ recent experience in developing deep and long lasting customer relationships in a compliance / financial crime / reg technology business and driving sales with those customers.
* 5+ years B2B sales experience with compliance / financial crime or regtech solutions (a fincrime / compliance tech background is highly desirable);
* Exceptional at selling technology concepts / solutions to senior management;
* Experienced in building relationships and selling to C-Suite and senior management professionals;
* Track record of being able to build a high value client portfolio from scratch and of over-achieving sales targets;
* A back book of transferable clients is an asset but not a requirement;
* A valid financial crime qualification (eg: ICA / ACAMS) would also be a significant asset;
* Self-starter – be able to quickly understand what the commercial opportunities are and go door-knocking;
* Reliable, and self-sufficient – able to work efficiently, with minimal direction and without large amounts of structure;
* Well versed in working with marketing, product and engineering teams;
* Comfortable operating in a small, tight-knit, entrepreneurial team.
