Job Description
Experienced Business Analyst – Insurance (Permanent)

Location: London/Hybrid working

Salary: DOE – 50-80k

Are you an experienced or passionate Business Analyst looking to broaden your horizons in a leading Insurance company? If so this could certainly be an opportunity worth considering.

Working with some of the biggest names in the industry, this exciting leader in Insurance has made it very clear that their rapid expansion is not over – in fact the business has committed to a significant head count increase and are looking for experienced Business Analysts to join their team of passionate and highly-skilled professionals.

Different types of profiles we can consider:

* BA from Insurance software house – UW / policy admin / reinsurance systems

* BA with experience in Exposure Management Systems

* BA with good understanding of end-to-end Exposure Management process from the carrier’s (Insurance Company) perspective

* BA with experience (>1 year) within an Exposure Management team on the carrier side is highly preferred

* Experience with Catastrophe Modelling is a bonus, particularly the end-to-end process

Key Requirements & Responsibilities:

* Proven Business Analysis skills working in the insurance industry at implementing and delivering commercial insurance software solutions within the London and global markets.

* 5-10 years of experience across multiple commercial lines of business preferably in multiple markets but with a good understanding of London and Lloyd’s.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to credibly and confidently present complex and detailed functional content to multiple levels of stakeholders and audiences both internally and externally.

* Experience running customer functional workshops, gathering requirements, reviewing and writing up functional documentation.

* Ability communicates well at all levels ensuring that functional output is clear, consistent and concise.

* Experience with operating with an offshore model and working with multi-location teams would be a benefit.
