Job Description
Partnering exclusively with a well-established and ever-growing insurance brokerage, Boxtree is recruiting an individual to manage a team of underwriters and administrators. Working closely with the wider management team, you will be ensuring best practice is adhered to and that your department is working within SLAs and to agreed binding authority agreements.
Responsibilities:
* Management and development of the team
* Obtain and review monthly MI and feedback to the Head of Branch Network
* Review quality control feedback and implement any actions required
* Attend meetings with external companies including brokers, new and existing carriers
* Referral point for risks and queries from the teams
* Working directly with customers to quote or adjust risks, within granted authority limits
* Ensure efficient work processes are adhered to, in line with meetings SLAs/deadlines
* Ensure clear communication with internal and external customers, people, and partners
Required:
* 5 years minimum experience working in a broking or underwriting environment
* Strong supervisory or management experience is essential
* ACII qualification or working to obtain the qualification
