Radar Recruitment are delighted to be partnered with a vibrant Practice based in Mid-Kent, supporting them in their search for a new Accounts and Tax Manager, reporting into Leadership you will be responsible for leading a division of the business and managing a team of two Trainee Accountants who are pursuing their ACA qualification. You will be ACA or ACCA Qualified, come from Practice and have evidence of working in a similar capacity, or will be technically skilled and have aspirations of running a team. This is a brand-new position for the organisation and is required due to continued success and an ever-increasing client base, it presents a unique opportunity for someone who feels their current prospects are stunted due to typical progression methods. Ultimately you don’t need to wait for someone to retire or move on before your role can grow, we are actively seeking an individual who recognises the company’s growth trajectory and would like to join the journey that others are already benefiting from.

Profile:

* ACA or ACCA Qualified, happy to consider Newly-Qualified with relevant managerial aspirations

* Previously worked in Practice, the ability to service multiple clients and hit deadlines will be vital

* Technically skilled, must be able to demonstrate sound knowledge and execution of Tax – Corporation, Personal

* Culture and team fit is important, we need someone who matches the team’s enthusiasm, positivity and sense of humour

* Can demonstrate clear ambition and drive, the Practice is established enough to offer security however is young enough to offer uncapped prospects

* Can demonstrate flexibility and a reactive nature to company requirements, developing a small team will be the primary objective for this role however in busy times of the year having to roll up your sleeves and support from the front will be an endearing quality

* Circa £45k DOE
