Job Description
Chartered Accountancy Practice in Essex is seeking an experienced Accounts and Audit Senior to join their growing team. The Accounts and Audit Semi Senior will be responsible for audit file planning, Preparation of statutory accounts, bookkeeping, payroll, vat returns, management accounts and training junior members of staff.
This role is split Audit and Accounts and would be an excellent match for someone with 2+ years audit experience looking to develop further. You will join the audit team and report to the Audit Senior.
Audit and Accounts Semi Senior Position Overview
Audit file planning
Preparation of Statutory Accounts applying FRS 102 and FRS 105
Accounts preparation for sole traders and partnerships
Solicitor accounts and independent examinations
Management accounts for delegated portfolio
Bookkeeping and vat returns
Payroll
Training junior members of staff.
Driving essential for client visits
Audit and Accounts Semi Senior Position Requirements
2+ years' experience working in an accountancy practice
Audit Exposure is essential for this position
AAT, ACCA or ACA part qualified
Driving licence is essential
Audit and Accounts Semi Senior Position Remuneration
Salary £25,000 – £35,000
Annual leave 20 days + bank holidays
Days Monday – Friday
