Job Role: Assistant Director of Delivery
Location: Lincoln.
Pay rate: £30.19 per hour – full time
Duration: 3 months (extension possible)
Experience Required:
" Educated to master's level or equivalent experience.
" Professional management training/qualification.
" Evidence of continuing professional development.
" Specialist in depth knowledge of financial management, performance management, information systems and staff management.
" Experience of working at a senior/corporate level within the NHS.
" Demonstrable experience in leading, motivating and managing teams.
" Experience of leading change.
" Knowledge of key national NHS policy and strategies relevant to the role.
" Experience of strategic thinking at a senior level.
" Significant experience of communicating and working with very senior managers and leaders.
" Ability to influence at all levels and a strategic thinker.
" Experience of managing competing workloads concurrently.
Role Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible for day to day management of all quality improvement delivery on behalf of the Director of Improvement and Integration. In addition the post holder will be responsible for the management of the appropriate delivery team members and the budgets for these services. The postholder will have lead responsibility for; Working with Assistant Director of Strategy and Planning to address organisational and system opportunities to develop a multi-year QI programme gaining support for appropriate resource.
Agreeing divisional and trust-wide priority quality improvement projects which require improvement team support and ensuring delivery of these plans (including post service reviews) Ensuring engagement and awareness continues and local improvement ideas and projects are encouraged Being a Trust expert on the use of quality improvement methodology to drive improvement, ensuring divisional teams are suitably supported in their improvement programmes according to the priorities set and agreed.
Ensuring the strategic investment projects are delivered and cost base reduced Monitoring and reporting to the Trust Executive and Board on all relevant improvement indicators Working with the Assistant Director of Improvement to ensure high quality QI education and training programmes are in place and delivered.
